We Are Really Glad You are Here

It is our joy to welcome you to the Catholic parish of Headstone Lane, a place where people of all ages, cultures, and walks of life gather in God’s name. We strive to build a Christian community through the celebration of the sacraments and the simplicity and profundity of our patron St Theresa’s approach to God and the things of the spirit, which she called her little way. We would love for you to not only join this church and family, but to also join us in transforming our world. We look forward to praying, serving, and walking with you!

Feel free to wear your “normal” clothes. We want you to feel comfortable and don’t expect you to wear your best suits and dress. However, please bear in mind that you are expected to show reverence to God when in church and your attire should reflect this.

On Saturdays, the church is open all day (9:00 am to 6:00 pm). For the rest of the week, the church is open only during services.

Tea and coffee are served after the Sunday morning Mass (10:00 am) and after the Friday morning Mass (9:30 am). These are great opportunities to get to know parishioners — all welcome!

We have a whole section on the sacraments giving  you  all the information you need to know about baptism, First Holy Communion, Confirmation, marriage, anointing of the sick, RCIA, funerals. etc.

There  are many opportunities for getting involved. We have many different parish groups to help you meet other parishioners and have fun at the same time. Or why not share your time and talents by considering one of the ministries you can take on such as altar serving, being a Eucharistic minister or being part of our music groups? You can also submit a volunteering form to tell us how you are willing to help. The Parish Calendar is also a good place to find out what’s going on.

You can sign up to our mailing list by filling in the form at the bottom of every page of the website. You can also download our newsletters on the website. Also see the Parish Calendar to see what’s happening in the parish.

Contact the parish office to request a certificate of Catholic practice. For Fr Antonio to issue one, he will need to be confident that you are a regular church goer.

The What We Believe page outlines the fundamental beliefs of Catholics, while the Catholic Q&A page answers specific questions about the faith. If you would like to explore more, you can consider joining our RCIA programme. You can also contact Fr Antonio for an informal chat.

Fr Antonio is always happy to speak to parishioners. Call the parish office or use his appointment booking system to make an appointment. Please note that under 18s will need to be accompanied by a parent or guardian.
