Twelve young adults from our parish were conferred the sacrament of Confirmation by Fr Antonio on Saturday, 13 June 2026. The twelve youths had been preparing for the sacrament since October 2025 with regular catechetical sessions and getting involved in parish life by performing ministries such as altar serving, reading at Mass and helping out with tea and coffee mornings.

At the Confirmation Mass attended by the youths’ parents, sponsors and relatives, Fr Antonio told them: “Confirmation is your commissioning ceremony. You are being drafted into active duty in Christ’s Church. The Church does not need passive spectators sitting quietly in the back pews. The Church desperately needs your energy, your fresh perspectives, your unique talents and your voice.”
