“Merry” and “joyful” are two adjectives that would aptly describe the Christmas Get-together and Sing-along which took place on 21 December at St Theresa’s. Around 120 people both from in and out of the parish attended the event which saw more than 20 carols being sung in praise of the Prince of Peace. The Twelve Days of Christmas was a crowd favourite as were solo performances including Mary Did You Know?, sung by parish teen singing sensation Krish Bhatia. The festive and uplifting sing-along was led by the church choir (pictured), under the direction of choir leader and organist, Andrea Basile. They were also joined by Jaison Jeyaventhan, musician and singer from the Our Lady and St Thomas of Canterbury Church in Harrow-on-the-Hill. During the intermission, panetonne and mince pies were served.
