The Third Sunday of Ordinary Time is the Sunday of the Word of God – a day, instituted by Pope Francis on the Feast of St Jerome in 2019, devoted to the celebration and study of Sacred Scripture. In 2026, the Sunday of the Word of God falls on 25 January. It is a most fitting day for all our Mass readers to be recommissioned. This will take place at the 10:00 am Mass.
